While I believe that the world should not rely on its leaders or pay disproportionate attention to personalities, I have real admiration for those who improve health.

It is often after a tragedy that hope is reborn. In my case, the disappearance of my sister, Dr. Ouidad Hachem, was the spark that pushed me to found this association in order to extend her work with her life. All his life, Ouidad worked generously to make the world a little better educated and a little better cared for.
